You know you reached complete Sister missionary status when...

Hello world, another week down and I am fast approaching my 1 month in Italy mark. I can hardly believe it. Mission time is strange. One second flies by and the next four days take 10 years to pass but then you look back and it has seemed like yesterday. Molto stranno.

Well the week has been a busy one. We taught 27 lessons last week and are leading the mission! The Lord truly does take pity on us two greenies and basically puts investigators in our laps. Not really, we work hard but we are very blessed. The highlight of the week for me was finding this blind man who turned out to be hilarious! We offered to take him for a walk and he was absolutely thrilled by the prospect. He linked his arm through mine and then fumblly felt around for my shoulder. When it was a good foot higher than he expect (yup, you can imagine where he was initailly feeling...awkward bosom swipe....) He was shocked and explained, "You are much to tall to be a normal female, you must be a model!" Oh bless you blind man, bless you. Sorella Acerson tried to share our message with him but he would have none of it and instead just laughed and talked the entire time. It was adorable and I loved every single second of it. I am determined we go again because to me, that is what being a missionary is. We brought a blind man a little christ-like light.

I am real missionary now. I will explain. We came back from an appointment in which we had to ride the train for an hour. The keys to the bike locks are nowhere to be seen. All the other 10 keys are there but just the two bikes seemed to have disappeared. Naturally, it is downpour raining and I am repping a blue poncho. We decided that we had to leave the bikes at the station and walk home to look for spares. Well I tied my skirt up, and walked and walked. Sorella Acerson was embarrased and I was just laughing and waving at everyone laughing at me. Turns out we lost the spare keys because the sisters before us actually lost the original. So the next day, Sunday, a nice ward member came and busted open the locks for us. But I am real missionary now because I would rather get laughed at in my blue poncho then get rained on at all!

I love you all and pray for you each individually! This week, go out of your way to help someone....could be just a smile could be a treat....and then write me about it!

love you all!
