I have a super important question

I have a super important question - It literally cannot wait.

What do you can an alligator in a vest?

An investiGATOR!

oh ya, missionary jokes all day long!

How about that general conference?! Each talk just sent my spirit a boogin' with joy and I was spiritually feasting the entire time. Mashed potatoes, who nees them? I have Anziano Holland. Turkey - that is for the weak. Elder Bednar offers better. Still hot rolls, not even a temptation. Dieter is totally a temptation. Rainbow jello, okay that I could do but I would still trade it for President Monson. Oh golly, la conferenza generale was the best one yet! I prepared myself for a week and prayed that Heavenly Father would make known to me what HE thought I needed in my life. I did not focus on receiving answers to questions or thoughts, instead, I said, "Padre Celeste, you know better than I do, what I need......I will do my best to open my heart and listen with my spiritual ears. Aiutami." And help me HE did! I received wonderful very personal revelation and my testimony became a bean stalk that I might just scale my way to the CK.

Thanks to the big fam for having my italian people to the house and giving them some wonderful BBQ cibo. For reals, they are my people and I am so happy they got to experience the Alley way of life. Siete Bravi!

So we had a wonderful experience this week. When we first arrived in Verona, we split the ward between the 3 coppie di missionari. The area we were given has fewer members so we were allowed to choose a family from the elder's areas. We obviously knew no one so we both just looked at each other and said, "Pirodini." Totally unified as a companionship! Well, we didn't understand why we had chosen them until last week. Before going, we did not feel good about our plans and so last minute we changed our plans. We decided to just be completely real and honest with them, focusing completely on the first point. "Dio è letteramente il nostro padre celeste." God is literally our Heavenly Father. We shared a few scriptures to get a few for what they were thinking and then we both shared just real life experiences. I testified of how I came to truly believe and then KNOW that there is a God and that He loves me. I love being a tool because when teaching with the Spirit, the Italian flows, but more importantly the SPIRIT TESTIFIES. We left that evening with insurmountable happiness, humbled to know that we were lead by the Spirit to teach this sweet family.

This transfer, I have promised to give up english. NO MORE ENGLISH. I am only allowed to speak in english when teaching (obviously, that is a must) and at district meeting. Other than that, NO ENGLISH FOR ME. I have already seen a difference and humbled by how much italian i still dont know, but I have complete faith that with this sacrifice (let's be honest, I talk less in Italian and l like to talk- therefore, a sacrifice.) that I will grown and learn this language. Still pray for me, but I am going to need it!

I have received my release date, and with the option of coming home a month early at the suggestion of President Dibb to start school, I have decided to stay until my release date. Therefore, SEPT 19TH is the date! That is just around the riverbend and it is time to buckle down and get completely lost in the work.

I love you all and am proud, moreso than ever, to be an ALLEY.

Vi amo tutti!
