Another P-Day? Already

Mamma Mia, un altra settimana ha gia passato! Come?! Hellllllo Family! Literally, I am pretty sure pday was two days ago but nope here it is again. To start of the week, hear's a little story and you can judge me if you'd like. I "woke" up this morning literally terrified that someone was after my six color scripture marking highlighter pen. So after locating it, I did the best thing I could do to keep it secure, and I slept with it. Yes, this morning, the alarm went off and I thought to myself, "that was a weird dream" only to find my pen tightly clenched in my hand. But alas, I can resume morning studies with a secure pen.
Miracle Time! I dont even know where to begin.

Fiona! She is a cousin of a recent convert that we have been meeting with for bout two months. She totally wants to get baptized but we had to set her date for the 1 feb because she wanted to get married first. She was married Tribally in Nigeria but wants a legal marriage in Italy. Well Sunday night we meet with her and all timid like, she says, "I am really tired of waiting to be baptized, can I just get baptized and just not see my man until we are married?" ummmmm, did you just ask to be baptized earlier?! Welcome to the fold my sister, salvation is just around the corner! After cleaning her situation with President Dibb and her moving in with her cousin, she will be baptized Saturday! She is so cute and cannnnnnot wait to take the sacrament.

Mima! Remember about a month ago when we did tracting with no results? One day we talked to 73 people and the very last person, the 73 - was Domenica (Mima). She lost her son 11 years ago when he was 23 and he has destroyed her happiness. We met with her before Christmas and it did not go very well, and I got emotional because I felt so much pain for her and didnt feel like I was adequately expressing my thoughts and addressing her needs. Well last week, we took a member Chiara with us and visited her again. COMPLETE switch. She's reading, defintely experimenting on the word and proving her Heavenly Father. My personal Miracle, she said that in the moment she watched me break and share her pain, she felt something and she said in that moment she knew I would change her life. She has since felt that Jonny personally sent me to her and we have become very good pals. She came to church and after words stated, "Wow, I have found more truth and things I like in 3 hours than I have in 56 years of looking." We met with her again yesterday and she has accepted a date for baptism. I am on the Savior's and Jonny's personal errand. My girl Mima needs to find the joy and happiness this gospel gives people.

Alessandro! He was an area book find and actually met missionaries 15 years ago. The first night we met him, he asked where he could buy a quad...what?! So he loves the BoM, PGP, D&C and church history. hahahaha it's hilarious to talk to him about it because he knows way more than I do about Church history. And he is also meant to be Dad's best friend. He read's biographies about Jefferson, Adams, Washington and then all the church heros, Woodruff, BYoung, all of them! Well we had another lesson with him on Sunday and let's just say, I called repentence. I said, "One day you will stand before your Maker and He will ask you what you have done with the knowledge you have of the restored gospel. What are you going to do?" Only in Italian it's more blunt. :) But I turned the time over to the Spirit and he was being worked on very hard. He thanked me, admitted Fear is keeping him back but he wants to try now. I have HIGH hopes for him, because he is a special man who already loves the gospel.

Well that about sums up my week. We had a fantastic week, 6 investigators in church and wonderful lessons. I honestly love this work with all my heart even though it's hard, it's painful and often discouraging. I am becoming my own convert and can feel myself strengthening each day.

However, don't eat chocolate wrapped in a pretty burgundy color foil.

It's liqueur.

That was a funnier day that usual.

Sorella Alley

Raiza, one of my best pals in Lodi! She is incredibly smart and loves to learn.
I curled her hair one day while we were at her house for lunch and she loved it!!"

"If I had 1£ for every time I told my companion to stop before they crashed, I'd be 10 £ richer."
