Hello dearest family!
We had a baptism! Fiona entered the refreshing waters of baptism Saturday
the 18th at 730pm! And technicallllllllly, it was a double baptism
because she is 7 months pregnant! Nah, we are just warming that little
guy up for his own baptism in 8 years. The ceremony went wonderfully
and I gave a nice talk on baptism. She enjoyed it. Then she was baptized
and it WAS PERFECT!! When we ran into the bathroom to greet her she was
shevering and exlaiming, "I am freezing because I dont have any sin
keeping me warm!!!!!" Amen, praise to heaven YOU ARE CLEAN!
I love baptisms.
She
received the gift of the Holy Ghost the next day and I think i think
this even more. My Spirit goes nuts during the prayer and I am so
grateful that Heavenly Father has given us this priceless gift. It is
incredible.
It's been raining a lot here and it's made me do my thinking....you've waiting a long time for this but...
Gospel Principles learned from my bike: RAIN EDITION!!!
1) When riding through a puddle, always lift up your
feet and place them on the front bar. The puddle is always deeper than
it looks. We have to live in this life and sometimes it requires us to
get our feet wet. However, although we may have be in the world (getting
our feet wet) we dont have to be of the word (soaking our feet in the
wordly pleasures). Lift the feet out of the water. lift yourself out of
the world.
2) When sharing the road with cars, ride on the
outside of the puddle. Put yourself between the puddle and the car. Now
initially this doesnt sound to smart.......but it is! Because the cant
possible soak you if you are between it and the puddle!!! Satan tries to
get us by making innocent things look...innocent....or harmless. Sure,
its normal to ride through a little puddle but to the mean cars, they
splash anything in the way. Satan is this mean car! DONT LET HIM SPALSH
YOU.
3) If you dont want to die, make sure you have brakes BEFORE the storm. This was learned the hard way.....I'm fine mom.
Well
friends and family! That is it for this week. I love you all and
remember when times get tough, we get tougher! Remember that you are
loved by Heavenly Father, His son and a certain sorella.
Vi AMO!
Sorella Alley
