Okay this week - let's jump in! This week, an in honor of
little Hermana Alley's big 1 year anniversary, I taught a lesson in
spanish. arrrrribbbba taco taco! We are teaching a wonderful part member
couple from Equador and they speak in thiiiick spantalian so we just
thought, "who needs italian, let's do it in spanish!"....what a weird
and confused language. I was so proud of myself though and I think I had
the spirit of Boo with me. But italian is so much prettier and pleasing
for the ears.
CONGRATS ON THE BIG 1 YEAR! My advice and my
personal moto for my last couple months - when we begin to wide up our
missions, the mission slang says we are "dying". This being said,
Becca, it is NOT ENOUGH to simply return with honor. Die
with honor. Meaning - dont you dare get "trunky" or begin to get lazy in
your obedience. Dont start slowing down because the days are winding
down. The Lord has invested a year of time in you for THESE 6 MONTHS!
Let 'er rip full stream ahead and you will be amazed at the progress and
blessings you see!
I also made stir fry this week and I decided to add a
little coconut milk and coconut flour to the rice......end
product.....dang good. Try it.
moving on- my
study topic this week - eternal marriage. It seems to be in all the
ensigns that I own to my name so i figured I might as well learn from
the inspired words. Okay, sit down because you are all about to be blown
away by this personal epiphany. So let's jump back a few eons and
stroll down the courtship of Adam and Eve (way to easy, they only had
one choice that was chosen by God.....) but God say "Procreate!" So they
were married right, but that was before they left the garden....so
their marriage was eternal because they were in a state of eternity. But
then the fall happened, and with it, ecco la morte. So homelovers Adam
and Eve became subject to death but their marriage, which was still
eternal, did not!!!!!!!!!! WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Eternal marriage is the best!!!!!!
Happy Father's day to all the Dad's I know! I hands
down got the best, for there is not one soul as bravo as Pierre. Richard
Pierre, you are on the path to being the grill master and Jake, you've
got years of experience and exptertise but as for me...I got just one
dad and I am his girl. PIERRE!!!! hurrah! (sorry my italians beet your
silly british blokes. better luck next time!)
Wow, my fingers can type fast these days, pretty sure flames are about to start. I am out for this week! Love you all!
