A big surprise...

The time is approxiamately 8:17 am and I am intensely studying when I am startled by the citofono goes off.

"What the heck, who could that be?"

"Chi รจ?" (Who is it?)

in an awful arabic sounding accent "Sorella Alley, do you do corso d'inglese?....corso d'inglese?"

"Si, ma in la chiesa e il martedi. Chi parla?" (yes, but in the church on tuesday, Who is talking?) ((in my head - OH no!!!! Armondo the creep has found my house!!!!!)

"uhhhh Fratello Alley..:"
"SHUT UP YOU ARE AT MY HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I then ran, through the rain, in my socks, to find gooood ol' Richard P. Alley standing at my gate. What the heck, the best sorpresa (surprise!) in my entire life! Literally, i was so happy i had little happy tears explode from my eyeballs. Well We then sat outside my door and chatted for about 48 minutes hahaha and then he had to go on his way as I was on an exhange. I then got to talk on the phone while being totally Italian and chatting on the metro. But seriously it was such the bomb surprise and brightened my entire transfer. Basically what I am saying is that I have the bomb diggity oldest brother who thankfully likes surprises more than anyone does! Also, he gave a little cash (A LOT; THANK YOU!) to the Sorella Alley Italian Shoe Fund (sorry Dad, i am coming home with double the amount of shoes!). Oh how wonderful!

Other than that, I was a good old boring missionary. Except we taught Mima this week about Prayer. She loves that we prayer directly to our heavenly father but she says "non sono capace" (i am not capable!). Well Sorella Alley wasnt having that negative thought from little red horns any longer. Sorella Smart offered a prayer to calm her down a bit and then I asked her to pray. She was so nervous and shy that I just sat down (practically on her) and took her hands in mine, looked her dead in the eyes and said, "Mima, you Father is waiting to hear from you." and closed my eyes. Her hands were shaking in mine but she offered the most sincere and humble prayer I have ever heard! The Spirit immediately filled the entire room and it was incredible. Prayer is something that I personally struggle with and often have to really convince myself to pray but oh baby does it work!!!!!!!! Mima is progressing towards baptism and she changes daily.

Alessandro is still being his old incredibly intelligent self. He brings up all this history and doctrine of the church and Sorella Smart and I just look at each other like "Did you know that? No, okay at least we are dumb together." He has an deep testimony and loves Joseph Smith. We are trying to help him realized Faith without works is like.....DEATH: hahaha okay but seriously, we can have a testimony deeper than the grave but if we do not act on that faith, we dig our own graves. hahaha Wow, look at deep i am getting.

Okay, well that is about it! Oh just kidding, we interviewed with Presidente Dibb this week. It went well, and he likes my area book. 1 point for me. So I told him that Sorella Smart should train so I am putting my transfer guess in today as I am leaving and she is training! Maybe I will get to be jr companion for once on my mission!

Well I love you all folks at home! Big shout out to the Pops for getting skinny at 200 lbs and Merry 32 Rachel! Love you all!

Sorella Alley

"Everyone. Lili and Raizza Diaz and Maria and Richerd Ozuna."
(Note from the editor: Look how cute, Christine is finally the tallest in a picture!)
"Sorella Smart and Richerd decided to switch lives for the day.
Sorella Richerd makes a cute little girl!"

"Lion bars make us be Lions while
waiting for our train! Pday snack!"

"Gansta best friends "

And finally, for your enjoyment, a glimpse of Sorella Alley through her companion's eyes. The following is taken from Sorella Smart's letter home:

"So the other day we were sitting at the train station in Milan after a baptism. A member that was traveling with us had just set his backpack down two seats away from me and asked us to watch it for a minute. A few minutes later I was deep in conversation with Sorella Alley but I see a man out of the corner of my eye slow walking towards the backpack. We are in Milan so I decide to play it safe and nonchalantly move the backpack closer to me. I'm inching towards it when suddenly I feel Sorella Alley jump out of her seat next to me. That jumps my system so I hurry and yank the backpack. Then suddenly Sorella Alley circles back from heading towards the man and was sitting on me, hiding her face and laughing out of embarrassment. Later when I asked her if she was trying to grab the backpack just like I was she said, "No, I was going to tackle him!" That's Sorella Alley for you haha.    ....Let's just say the backpack was saved, no one got tackled, and the man was only a little more than slightly offended that we thought he was trying to steal from us!!"
