I am in Verona, Italia.

I still cannot get over it. Lowdown of the events. We arrived in Milano early Thursday morning and dropped my baggage off (I am pretty sure Heavenly Father shrunk my bags and tripled the load and just laughed...) and headed to meet the victims...our verdina's (greenies). Again, it came down to the very last two girls and Sorella Smart and I. My new baby girl is Ashley Quinton from Price, Utah! She is an infant - graduated in 2013 (haha i had a good chuckle seeing I am nearly the 5 year reunion haha) and feel like a little mother hen. She's got a fantastic sense of humor, has great pronunciation and doesn't snore - so I am happy.

We grabbed herself (I think she came with like 10 things and 4 books...) and myself and headed off to Verona. Luckily, we are living in four as there is another coppia of sisters here and Sorella Haslem (from my MTC group) is also training so we got to follow them to the apartment! We live in a very spacious apartment and it is right on the main strip of town. We got a little organized and jumped right into work.

Now we are concentrating on finding every member in our area and contacting them. Turns out, a lot don't want to be contacted. Many have moved or ignored us be we won't give up until we have stalked them enough to bring them back to the Fold. We are on the bikes (SO happy about that. love them. And her name is Guiletta - so fitting). We are usually lost, yes, the unmarked streets dont help the directional impaired sorella alley. But we have already had incredible experiences sharing our message on the street.

Story time - we received a referal from the mission office in Rome, and we decided to contact it on the spur of the moment. Her name is Paola and with the Lord's help we found her without any major problems (MAJOR SUCCESS). Her and her Husband Cesare (like Julius for you people) wanted a visit. They are both 72 and immediately adored us. They said they feel a little forgotten and abandoned in the world and have been praying for someone to remember them. Then we walked into their lives. They were very touched, and even cried because they felt our love. And they LOVED Sorella Quinton. Paola was so concerned cause she can't say much and doesn't have a mom. hahahaha POWER OF THE GREENIE!!!! So, I am pretty sure we will just use this power and baptize them! But It was a huge miracle and the first two people that we found ourselves. They call us every night now to make sure we are home safe and to pray with us. Hello Italian grandparents!

So Verona is the city of love, well we are getting loved. We were talking to a woman on the street who wasn't having it so she walks away. Two very friendly young Italian men came up and started asking questions. Of course, when i say i can marry because no I am not a nun, I get proposed to right there on the street (walked right into that one, didn't I?). Needless to say, my baby quinton poopies got her first real lesson in the art of the STIFF ARM. Dont you let that stiff arm fall a little slack or your chastity bubble of 2 feet in diameter gets broken. haha We had a good laugh.

Well Folks, that is about if from this end of the world. I am just biking past ancient gladiator ruins on the way to saving souls, so life is pretty good for me. Keep up the prayers for Verona and a huge shout out to Hermana Alley for milking the cows and calling repentance in farmland. I will now go find Juilet's window. Over and out.
