Romeo, Romeo, where are thou Romeo?!

Romeo, Romeo, where are thou Romeo?!

Juliet, Juliet, Let down your hair!

Romeo, Romeo, Kiss me you fool!

That sounds like a fairly accurate accounting of that o-so-famous story written by a foreigner English bloke.

Oh that isn't how the story goes?! Oh, well I will let you know when I get there......I AM GOING TO VERONA!!!   That is right, Verona! The land of beauty and so much history. I could not be more excited about this new adventure. Transfers came on Monday and while we were cleaning the house, the phone rings - President Dibb. My initial thought was to throw the phone off the balcony but thankfully, the natural woman did not succeed as a perfect composed Me answered the phone. Well I folks, I have been given a chance to repent from messing up my first daughter. I am having a baby again! So yes, you are reading this correctly. New city, new girl, no knowledge of anything, and a lot of prayers will be my new normal come Thursday morning. Sorella Smart will be training in Lodi! That lucky new greenie!

Big news part two! President Dibb interviewed Alessandro for baptism and found him more than ready to be baptized! Alessandro will enter the waters of baptism on Saturday (36 hours after I leave...tears....) but I could not be any more excited or happy for him. He is going to be the best asset for the ward and the entire church. He tells me things all the time that I had no clue about....he is like the Mormon encyclopedia for missionaries.

"Valentine's Picnic"
Valentine's day was wonderful, I made Sorella Smart breakfast and then lunch. Only for lunch, we had a wonderful picnic on the floor. How nice. Valentine's Day is not my favorite, only because every day should be Valentine's day when you are in love (someone please quote me on that....hallmark would eat it up.) but It was a holiday so you know me, we celebrated.

Other news.....Sorella Smart got destroyed by a car on Saturday. hahaha They make bikers ride on this little sidewalk things that put us directly in cars blindespots and she got hit full force. I was riding behind her and thought that she was dead. This is how it went down,
Alley: (thinking: Oh man, not again!) "Sorella! Are you dead?!"
Smart: (close her eyes for a minute and then pops up like it is no big deal) "No, i am fine!."
Alley: (thinking: she's in shock or this is the burst of energy before she breathes for the last time.) "Are you kidding me?"

Yup, just like that she pops up, brushes her self and calms the driver down. (she is ready to be a trainer! acting like its an everyday occurrence) Her bike is destroyed past riding and her leg is bruise but she is a walking miracle. Proof that Heavenly Father controls science in behalf of protecting His missionaries.

Okay, I think that is about it from my side of the world. Please keep me in your prayers, as my verdina (greenie). Love you all tons, and working hard the Alley way.

Sorella Alley

Photos of Sorella Alley's goodbye to the wonderful people of Lod:

"Is that Pierre? Yes, it is! Oh no, wait...that is Alberto Ruiz Diaz.
You are twins."

"The Diaz sorelle! These two wonderful peruvian women feed us every week and I always eat all my fish! Raiza is a wiz with languages and she helps me with Italian and I help her with her English. I love these two!"

"The Ruiz Diaz Family! This is my Argentinian Family that makes me feel like Boo is in the room."

"Sorella Ruiz Diaz is such a sweetheart and takes such good care of me.
She is like Mom, only I beg her to let me do the dishes instead of the other-way around."

"Mima - my miracle from Lodi. We found her on the street, the 73 and only person who listened to us. She said she recognized something different about us and gave us the chance to talk because she was intrigued. How I have grown to love this woman! It was devastating saying goodbye, my eyes were a faucet, but I know that I was sent by her son to help her and I feel like I did what I needed to. I have to put my trust in the Lord and pray that she has the courage and faith to be baptized!"
"The Bastici family, my favorite pupils from English Class. They made us their two little American daughters and we have ate and spent the evening at their house. They have invited me to their beach home in Senegalia (Italy) for when I  finish....don't mind if I do! Anna, Maurizio and Maralisa Bastici!"

"Fiona, she did not want me to leave at all but knows that this will not be the end of seeing me.
She's having a baby and I have to meet my boy Prince. Yes, Prince is his name."
"The family Crescenti! They are from Sicily and have the craziest accents.
She's the best cook in Italy."

"It's fine. I am a giant amongst the Guaman women."
"Sorella Guaman, is so small and so full of sass.
She's had a hard life but has the best outlook, an inspiration to me."

"My home girl, Success."
